With over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, Chris has worked alongside and learned from leaders in the industry such as Charles Poliquin, Ben Prentiss, 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, IFBB Pros Darrem Charles, Ben Pakulski, John Hansen and his lifelong friend and Owner of Critical Bench, Mike Westerdal. Chris is a strength coach and VP of Content at CriticalBench.com. He is also a Specialist in Sports Nutrition (ISSA), a Certified Kettlebell Instructor (RKC) and Certified Brain Health Trainer (FAI). Chris oversees the Strong By Design Podcast as well as the Critical Bench YouTube channel with over 1.1 Million subscribers. He resides in Clearwater Florida with his wife of 18 years Samantha and their beautiful children Kellan 12 and Camryn 8. His passions outside of work… he loves the Lord, college and pro football, coaching youth baseball, his dogs and cats, traveling with his family and listening to podcasts or loud music while driving to work!
Tonya Fines
First and foremost Tonya Fines is Mum to 3 amazing children! She is also a former international competitive Figure Athlete having represented both Canada & New Zealand, placing 5th in the NAC World’s in 2015. Tonya is a board certified holistic health practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, a practitioner with the AHHA and a member of the American Council of Holistic Medicine. Tonya has 25+ years experience working in the health, fitness & wellness industry as a coach, nutrition counselor & holistic practitioner specializing in women’s health. Tonya resides in Tampa, FL and when she is not busy with work projects you can be guaranteed to find her at the beach!
Jared Haley
Jared Haley is a follower of Jesus, pastor, and public speaker who believes God created the design for strong faith and healthy families. Serving in professional ministry for over 20 years with his Master’s Degree in Transformational Leadership and Spiritual Formation, Jared is passionate about investing in people, and helping them understand how God wired and designed them to live strong. He loves any opportunity to speak publicly, and share with others the wisdom God has given him through his years of ministry, study, and experience.
When not podcasting, Jared works full time for Critical Bench as a Video Production Specialist. He has created and led several other productions including, The Pastors on Pop podcast, and Practical Living: a documentary style YouTube show where Jared learned specific skills from experts, and gave them the opportunity to share their individual stories. He continues to be active in the local church serving as a leader, vocalist on the worship team, and volunteering to help his wife who oversees the child care ministry for all church services.
Although originally from Denver Colorado, Jared currently resides in Palm Harbor, FL with his wife of 15 years, Cairistiona, and their four children. He is an avid Denver sports fan, and is always ready for a fun game night, or watching a good movie. It is always a blessing when he can get outdoors to play soccer, softball, golf, or take a trip to the beach.
